To celebrate its 40th Anniversary, Serpent will release a special edition of the 989, based on the setup and configuration used by the team at the IFMAR World Championships (including many of the parts necessary to copy the exact set-up). The Serpent Viper 989 40th Anniversary is the latest development from Serpent for the 1/8 on-road nitro market.
To celebrate its 30th anniversary Hong Nor will release a new X3GTS Nitro version 30th anniversary limited edition. This new 1/8 4wd nitro on-road kit will have a newly designed Front/Rear aluminum gearbox that will make it easier for the driver to change the differential.
After an incredible final (if you missed the live streaming you can watch the recording below) the Italian pilot Dario Balestri is the new EFRA 1/8th Track European Champion. Simon Kurzbuch, placed second, for gave Dario the fight of his life and Jilles Groskamp was able to get on the podium from 10th on the grid!

Austrian company Buri Racer has released first images of their forthcoming E2.1 and E1.3 kits.
Both these new 1/8 scale car come with many innovative setup possibilities, such as different mounting to influence the flex and the simple, disc loose height adjustment (the system works without shims and it’s patent pending) to rear (+/- 4 MM) and front axle (+/- 3 MM).

VRC Pro have unveiled a brand new full size off-road italian track BARCO OFF-ROAD for their popular RC simulator. This edition of the track features the 2014 lay-out. The track is ideal for 1:8 nitro and electric buggies, as well as for the 1:10 scale elecvtric short course trucks. As with most VRC tracks, the track has been optimized to be raced in both directions, so 2 tracks in one! With this latest addition the number of full-size off-road tracks has now reached 18!
