SERPETN X20'22 Manual-0305-2

Serpent have revealed their latest electric touring car: the Medius X20 ‘23. A continual evolution of the original X Series, this racing car features some of the latest tech in the world of touring cars like the new and improved suspension geometry that helps improve car’s rotation, beautifully engineered aluminium rear diff, along with a completely newly designed rear upper arm link setup provides increased adjustability and new shocks with larger 13mm bypass system.

Moving away from the Hinge pin style suspension, we have developed a New arm mounting system which allows for the new pivot ball concept and increased adjustability for roll centre and camber gain.

Yokomo BD11 competition 1 10th touring car

After teasing us in the last few days, Yokomo have finally revealed the BD11, successor to the BD10 Touring platform. The Japanese designers felt that it was time for a new touring car platform and create a whole new car to enjoy racing competitively refining the suspension and drivetrain thinking about “usability” and allowing anyone to compete in the race.

The characteristic high-rigidity long suspension arm made of graphite is composed of a hybrid with resin and aluminum parts, reducing chassis roll and improving cornering speed. Durability is also confirmed by repeated tests, and it is possible to attack corners with confidence.

Awesomatix: A800FX Evo 1/10 Touring Car

After teasing us last month Awesomatix has finally released the new A800FX Evo FWD Touring Car evolution of the A800FX platform. The main goals were to further enhance the performance in all conditions and increase the setup range to suit all track conditions. Since weight distribution is the main setup tool for a FWD car, the designers re-worked the main chassis design and extended the wheelbase.

RX-10SR 2.0

The Japanese R/C brand Destiny Racing has publish all the informations of their new RX-10SR 2.0 1/10th Scale Electric Touring Car. The model has a new chassis layout with a belt ratio and the motor positioned forward for a better steering response and cornering speed. The 2.25mm carbon fibre chassis features a new floating servo mount and bell crank steering system, high quality hard coated short dampers, front and rear graphite shock towers, new front and rear lower suspension arms and 7075 aluminum upper bulkhead and linkage mount to adjust the roll centre.

Serpent: X20 1/10 Electric Touring Car

Serpent has finally released the new X20, based on Project 4X touring Car  the result of utilizing past years design of the Eryx and 4x 1/10 touring car (2016-2017 IFMAR World Championship 3rd place, 2016 EFRA EC A-main finalist and 2017 Multiple ETS A-main finalist).

The chassis  of the X20 is based on the popular Medius mid motor design, using a light weight and strong 1 piece motor mount concept, without any interference between the front and rear chassis flex while still allowing center flex adjustability.
