In the last few years, 1/8 electric buggies and trucks based on Nitro models have also become exciting racing categories. Two years ago Kyosho released the Inferno MP10e. By combining the proven drive unit of the Inferno MP10e with the suspension system and robust truck components of the 1/8 scale nitro truck Inferno MP10T, a new MP10Te 1/8 scale electric racing truck is born.
The MP10Te features a newly designed main chassis and aerodynamic body form that has been thoroughly tested to deliver the speed and maneuverability required in competitions.

The INFERNO is probably the most famous 1/8 nitro buggy and since its release in January 2019, the latest MP10 model has been scorching racetracks around the world. With the MP10 as its base, after teasing us before summer Kyosho is finally releasing MP10T Truggy.

Thanks to our colleagues at LIVE RC we can watch the live streaming of the 2019 ROAR 1/8 Nitro Off Road Nationals from US. Despite a round 4 DQ, Ryan Maifield is the overall TQ in truck and Phend is the overall TQ in buggy.
Maifield took the TQ in round 3 and round 4 of Pro Truggy, but was disqualified from round 4 for being over 150cc’s with his fuel tank. Despite that Maifield would take the overall TQ after winning a tie breaker with Spencer Rivkin. Tanner Stees will start 3rd with Ty Tessmann starting 4th and Ryan Cavalieri rounding out the top 5.

XRAY have just released the first teaser photo of the new XT4 1/10 scale Truggy. The European brand have not revealed any information about this new electric off-road so stay tuned .

XRAY‘s founder and head designer Juraj Hudy has shared a teaser photo about a brand new project that is in the pipeline. It appears to be a small scale 4WD truggy body in the early development stages. in his Facebook post Juraj wrote: “Working on something all-new – new project, new product, new class.”

After teasing us few days ago PR Racing have finally revealed the 401R-T! The designers have taken all the main features of the 401R buggy and applied them to create the brand new truggy! On top of that we have made further changes specifically for this vehicle to be the most capable, adjustable, durable competition ST 4×4/ Truggy on the market out of the box: from the aggressive “Low Center of gravity” truggy body, to the “Type R” style shocks and towers.

Team Orion has announced their new CRF 21 V4 3.5cc off-road competition nitro engines for 1/8th scale Buggy e Truggy. The two engines share the same design but differ in ports (7-port Factory WS Edition and 3-port Racing). The 7-port engine has a better progressive throttle response and top speed, while the 3-port variant has better torque.
