Italy: Campionato Costruttori EP 2019

Italy – The Campionato Costruttori EP is a new championship strongly desired by the Italian manufacturers and distributors of the EP sector who have joined together to allow all racers to have fun in a healthy and constructive manner racing in an high competition context.

The first round was held last weekend at RC Gymnasium in Livorno (Tuscany) with many drivers from all over the Country.

The Campionato Costruttori EP was also chosen by ACI as a championship to assign Italian national titles confirming the high level of organization. Thanks to this, in addition to the many prizes offered as draws by all the sponsors for every single race, 5 lucky ones were also able to win tickets to attend the next Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monza offered by ACI.

The organizers took care of every little detail to create an unprecedented Championship on Italian soil, attracting a very high number of drivers already in this first round of Championship and obtaining a high level of satisfaction from all.

In the Touring Mod category it was the Xray driver Alessio Menicucci who won ahead of the other Xray driver Andrea Ghilotti and Kile Branson with Capricorn.

Nico Catelani, XRAY driver, won the Touring 13.5 F1 category. Behind him Simone Alleotti (Team Associated) and Emiliano Dagliana (Awesomatix)

Emiliano Dagliana (Awesomatix) succeeds in winning the Touring 13.5 F2 after a awesome battle with Yuri Zanobini (Xray), who finishes second ahead of Nik Quattromini (Awesomatix).

Simone Brocca crowns a perfect weekend with a victory in the Formula 1 category, ahead of Luigi Sommaruga and Alberto Riboni.

Finally Andrea Tonini (Team Associated) wins the GT ahead of Matteo D’Ambrosio (Capricorn) and Stefano “Bitty” Rabitti (Awesomatix).

Next races will take place on 21 and 22 September on the Naxos World circuit in Giardini Naxos and on 16 and 17 November on the MCM RC Indoor circuit in Ciserano.
