Mugen MBX8R: Upgrades and tuning options

Adam Drake posted a new video of Upgrades and tuning options for his Mugen Seiki MBX8R. This racing buggy features: OS Speed B21AD2 with TB02/75mm, Futaba T10PX with 404SBS, JConcepts Green Reflex on yellow wheels, Protek 170SBL and 170TBL servos and 2500mah receiver battery.

After the CAD previews of last month  finally HB Racing has officially unveiled the new D2 Evo racing buggy. The designer Torrance Deguzman did a great job creating one of the most modern 1/10th scale 2WD Buggy. This model features extensive use of precision CNC aluminum parts, woven carbon fiber, and composite nylon material.

The D2 Evo has a wide range of adjustability so racers can tune it for maximum performance on the wide variety of 1/10 racetracks around the world.

Today Losi is a super brand, part of the Horizon Hobby family, but back in the days Gil Losi Jr. and his father “Pops” started Team Losi selling homemade aftermarket radio control parts and accessories at their local skatepark snack bar, that later turned into a mini hobby shop.

Over the next ten years they purchased the famous “Ranch Pit Shop” and dedicated over three years to develop their first race-dedicated RC vehicle: the now-iconic JRX2. The original JRX2, with its graphite chassis and 5-link suspension, pushed the boundaries of what a competitive RC racer should be and is known today as one of the most innovative cars of all time.

Paying homage to the innovations that have shaped the RC culture, the new Mini-JRX2 combines nostalgia with a touch of present day. This ultra-scaled down version of the vintage buggy is designed as a tribute to the memory of the original JRX2.

Losi: Mini-B Rollers with Ryan Cavalieri & Dakotah Phend

Recently Losi released the Mini-B Pro Roller. Featuring TLR 2WD buggy engineering and performance in a 1/16th package, this mini buggy is terrain-tearing and track-ready that offers racers a chance to customize and finish their Mini-B the way they want. The 1/16th scale is stable on the track generating quicker speeds and improved handling.
