maifield signs with maxima

Team Maxima Mx have signed Ryan Maifield to their Factory Team. Ryan, a multi-time national Champion and winner of countless other races, will bring to the Team his knowledge and experience in Off Road racing. All his Mugen Seiki lineup will be powered by Maxima Mx Engines and Fuel throughout 2019 and 2020 seasons.

 RCGP announce race dates for 2019

RCGP World Series have announced the dates for the 2019 season. The first two rounds will be held in Manila (Philippines) from 3 to 5 May, rounds 3 and 4 will took place in Madrid (Spain) from 7 to 9 June and the 5 and 6 rounds will be held at the Italian track “D&R Dirt Race RC” from 2 to 4 August.

Diego Fuser, track owner and famous ex-football player in Serie A declared: “I was contacted by RCGP to host their race, and I was very impressed by the whole project. Asti has hosted many big races and a lot of pro drivers, and having RCGP is the natural continuation of our philosophy. We are already working on a new layout to make everybody enjoy this event!”

Trofeo Capricorn 2018 Fiorano

Italy – Last weekend was held the Trofeo Capricorn 2018 at the famous Jody Scheckter racetrack in Fiorano. In the 200mm Touring Car final the Team Shepherd pilot Alessandro Balboni after the 30 was the first to cross the finish line, two laps in front of pole-setter Luca Manosperta.The French pilot David Simoes ranked third.

the dirt nitro 2019

The Dirt crew has announced the new home for the world famous Dirt Nitro Challenge. For the 20th annual event, they are bringing the race back to Cali and the event will be held at the Southern California fairgrounds in Perris CA, Feb 20-24th 2019. It is an awesome facility and with all of the great things we are looking for in a venue.

Pit B!tch: new series by RC Racing TV

RC Racing TV has started the brand new series Pit B!tch: a light hearted way to spend a bit of extended time with drivers and ask unusual questions and show top RC pilots in a new light. Mat McCallum‘s first client (victim) is European and World champion Alexander Hagberg.

Shot at the EFRA 1/12 Euros, apparently this notoriously independent racer really benefited from Mat’s services…

Homestead RC Raceway: Free practice for the IFMAR 1/10th Nitro Touring World Championships has concluded and from tomorrow Live RC will start the live coverage of qualifying (click here to check the official page). Yesterday’s free practice ended with Mugen Seiki Racing’s Robert Pietsch topping the times.

Tyler Hooks writes: As far as how the first 4 rounds of seeding practice went, Mugen’s Robert Pietsch would top the times with a 53.668 top 3 consecutive lap pace in the fourth round of practice. All of the top 10 drivers after day one would post their fastest times in the fourth round of practice. Reigning champion Serpent’s Dominic Greiner would be second fastest after day 1 with a 53.730 3 lap pace. Finally the Infinity driven by Jesse Davis would pop up 3rd fastest with a 53.771 going into the second day of free practice. 5th fastest Infinity’s Lamberto Collari would top the times in round 2 of practice, and was the only person able to go faster than Dominic in any of the 4 rounds.
