News is not lacking these days and Serpent has published a teaser image of the all-new X20 4WD electric touring car. The model is a totally new platform based on the experience of Project 4X and will use a center motor layout. The Serpent X20 will hit stores in October, so we expect all the details soon.

Serpent has shown the first images of the new electric on-road 1/8th Scale Cobra SRX8 GTe. The model is based on the design of the nitro SRX8 GT with a new weight distribution. The LiPo packs are positioned in the rear with the electronics (motor, regulator and servo) in the front part.

Serpent has finally released the new Viper 989: its latest development on the 1/8 gas market.
This brand has been the driving force for decades in the 1/8 racing scene and the Viper 989 is their latest interpretation of a high performance race car based on that experience, combined with the latest insights on weight, weight distribution and flex.
As the creator of the Centax clutch, the 2-speed gearbox and many other things that are now industry standard, Serpent also integrated some new solutions on the suspension.
The EFRA 1 / 10th IC Track Euros have just ended. These championships have been held in Germany at Mini Car Club. After conquering the Pole Dominic Greiner became the new European champion driving his Serpent Natrix 750.
Behind Dominic Greiner in second place and in third place are the two Italian RC legends Dario Balestri and Francesco Tironi respectively.

Serpent announced the new S120 Pro 1/12th scale pan car based on the F110 SF4. Designers wanted to create a racing car easy to work on and durable without sacrificing performance. New innovative design for the rear pod with side bearings in linear guides replacing the sidelinks.
With a traditional sidelink design, designers use long side links to have the relative roll movement between pod and chassis as linear as possible. But no matter how long the links are, there is always a longitudinal component in the roll motion.
Serpent has just released the first CAD renderings and technical info about the Viper 988E. The designers of this new 1/8 scale racing car managed to reduce weight, improve weight distribution and efficiency and created a layout that makes super easy to work on for quick setup adjustments and maintenance.
The Viper 988E has been designed for maximum driveline efficiency. The design is taken from the 1/10th electric where efficiency is very important and adapted to the power of the 1/8th application.

Serpent has announced the new SRX8-GT Nitro on-road 1/8th Scale. The SRX8-GT shares many high performance parts with the successful SRX8 platform. In addition to the details carried over from the SRX8 platform, Serpent introduced many new design concepts to push the model well into the future as well as set itself apart from all competition.
