Tamiya revealed the first model that will be show at the upcoming Spielwarenmesse trade show in Nuremberg (Germany). It’s the “2022” edition of the legendary Thunder Shot 1/10th 4WD buggy (originally released in 1987) that comes after the Fire Dragon, the Terra Scorcher and the Thunder Dragon.
The Thunder Shot 2022 comes with some updated parts and some basic specifications legacy of the first edition buggy produced in 1987. The polycarbonate body is pre-cut and pre-painted in white and blue, with a clear cover and it comes complete with driver figure. The independent 4-wheel double wishbone suspension with CVA oil dampers uses front anti-roll bar for extra stability. The front and rear mechanical reduction gears are sealed and contain compact and durable die-cast 3-satellite differential gears.
