After five rounds of qualifying the Italian driver Dario Balestri, the reigning 1/8 World Champion, has now become the overall TQ of the 2018 IFMAR 1/10 On-Road World Championships. Dario took his third TQ in the 5th round 5 and is also only the 2nd driver to put in a 24 lap qualifying run.
Serpent’s Dominic Greiner would finish second, Shephard’s Simon Kurzbuch third overall, Mugen’s Robert Pietsch finished fourth, Naoto Matsukura would finish fifth while Mugen’s Takahata completed the Top 6. Now all pilots are setting themselves up to get the super pole (or even just qualify for the semifinals).
