After the teaser revealed a couple of days ago (in case you missed we also posted the first high-res CAD renderings of the TRF 420) Tamiya has released the first official photos of the new CC02 chassis. This new platform will make its debut with a detailed replica of the Mercedes-Benz G500 body (the German car is member of the G-Class, sometimes called G-Wagen, and is powered by a 4-liter V8 twin turbo engine).
The Tamiya Mercedes-Benz G500 (CC02) will make its official debut at the end of September during the 59th All Japan Model and Hobby Show that will be held in Tokyo.

The new Tamiya CC-02 chassis comes with: multi-link suspension, solid axles, a c-channel frame for increased scale realism and a new transmission.
