At the Frankfurt Motor Show 2019 LEGO has officially unveiled the Technic Land Rover Defender: an incredible 2.573 piece replica of the legendary 4×4 vehicle. Developed in partnership with Land Rover, this is the very first LEGO Technic model in olive green, it has working steering, 4-speed sequential gearbox, All Wheel Drive with 3 differentials, independent suspension and a working winch.

The LEGO Technic replica of the Land Rover Defender echoes the original vehicle with a host of realistic elements and functions, including authentic body panels and rims, four-wheel drive with three differentials, fully independent suspension, a working winch and LEGO Technic’s most sophisticated gearbox yet – all designed to provide an engrossing and rewarding building experience for car lovers and LEGO fans alike.
