Kyosho FAZER MK2 designed by Akira Kogawa

At the Tokyo Hobby Show 2018, Kyosho will officially unveil the first models of the new series Fazer Mk2: a brand new platform designed by the legendary Akira Kogawa who is behind some of the most influential RC cars.

The cars based on this new chassis are the Rock Racer Rage 2.0 (that will be sold in two different color schemes both designed by Kyosho internal designer Katano) and the replica of the 2015 Dodge SRT Challenger bodywork HELLCAT “Plam Crazy Purple” body.

The new Fazer chassis uses a four-wheel drive transmission with two gear differentials, double wishbone suspension and short stroke oil dampers.

The electronics are already installed on the chassis and include: receiver, waterproof servo and a brushed motor 550 class “G14L” combined with a 60 Amp Speed Controller (LiPo 2S compatible).

The Rock Racer Rage 2.0 will be released in December, assembled and ready to run with 2.4 GHz receiver, KS202W waterproof steering servo, G14L brushed motor, 60 Amp ESC KA060-91W Speed House (compatible with 7.2V-8.4V Ni-MH and Li-Po 2S batteries) and Syncro KT-231P + radio.

The low center of gravity upper deckless chassis is designed with an ESC and receiver cover and a one-piece gearbox that optimizes main chassis torsional rigidity.

To make bashers happy the transmission is equipped with slipper clutch (to protect the drive system from the shocks of hard driving and jump landings) and oil shocks and suspension assure balance and easy handling over any terrain.
