Japanese RC brand Zero Tribe has released a FWD Conversion Kit for Xray T4 10th scale Touring Car (version 2015/16/17). Thanks to this conversion kit you can use a motor FWD configuration on your Xray, completely changing the model’s performance.
The T4 layout with a low center of gravity has many advantages as a FWD. The motor is set in front of the front axle. The space for the battery is now bigger and the chassis has the possibility to mount the battery in four different positions.
- Short Li-Po portrait front side.
- Short Li-Po portrait rear side.
- Landscape front side (same for full-size Li-Po).
- Horizontally placed rear side (same for full-size Li-Po).
Zero Tribe is doing development tests of the FWD conversion kit corresponding to T4 2018 and 2019. In the future it will probably be possible to use them even on the latest models.
