At the end of October, ARC will start distribution of the R11 2019 electric touring car kit. The chassis will feature all-new lower bulkheads, a new front bumper, revised steering blocks, new short shock absorbers, 20T centre pulleys, new rear uprights, a floating receiver and ESC mounting.
The new R11 2019 bumper moves the body posts 6mm inward each side while also raising the height along the bottom edge. This reduces scrubbing during cornering and increases steering.
The steering plate on the new steering block is now changeable, allowing drivers to use different plates to fine tune the set up for different surfaces and levels of traction.
The new optional floating receiver/ESC plate minimizes heat transfer from the ESC to the chassis and allows to flex more evenly.
The upgrade kit for R11 2018 will include all the parts to modify the model for the 2019 version.
