BMT: new 801GT 1/8 scale nitro RTR

The Italian company BMT has introduced the new 801 series of 1/8 scale nitro and brushless RTR models. The 801GT is an or-road competition model designed for both bashers and novice racers. It’s supplied already pre-assembled complete with the new pull start Hyper 30 Turbo engine, a 3-channel (2.4GHz Spektrum technology) radio remote control, 14Kg servos provided by Savox and a panted lexan body in white/blue racing livery.

 

The chassis of the 801GT is in ergal 7075 of new generation, with Hard anodization with front and rear reinforcements. All the transmission of the model are cardan, at the front CVA , the crowns and pinions of the differentials are made by steel, and the whole turns on ball bearings.

The shock absorbers are hydraulic (with oil), they are of the new Big Bore 17mm type and are completely in aluminum with a 4.0mm steel stem and adjustable by means of a ring nut to vary the spring hardness.

The shock absorber supports are in ergal 7075 from 4mm thick and have various holes for fixing the shock absorbers in order to change the attitude.

The brakes Pads are in Real Ferodo, with the same process of realization of the true cars 1/1. They are double disc, one acting on the front axle and one acting on the rear axle in order to vary the braking power on the two axles.

The suspensions are fully adjustable, with upper triangle, at the front, with adjustable position, and rear tie rod. All angles like camber, convergence, height etc. they are adjustable. In addition, the front and rear suspensions are equipped with adjustable anti-roll bars for maximum performance!

The whole electronic part is protected by an airtight dustproof box with extra battery box to balance the weight of the model. The tires and rims are slick with medium compound that fit most of the track.

The engine is the new Hyper 30 Turbo engine with In-Line Tuned Pipe and competition clutch. The carburetor is of new generation to ensure maximum regularity of operation.
