Tamiya announced that during the Nuremberg International Toy Fair 2019, it will show the Comical Hornet based on the WR-02CB chassis. For those unfamiliar with the Hornet, this historic model, it is one of the most famous 2WD Buggy produced by Tamiya in the 1980s.
The model will be sold as an assembly kit and like the Comical Grasshopper, the motor and speed controller are included in the package.
The WR-02CB chassis features independent suspension, oil shock absorbers with CVA shafts, polycarbonate body with pilot, TBLE-02S ESC regulator compatible with LiPo battery packs and brushed 540 class motor.
To complete the Comical Hornet, a servo, receiver, battery and radio must be purchased separately.
