HPI Racing: Change is coming!

Looks like HPI Racing is coming back!! The UK based brand have announced that “change is coming” with a new ownership of its global operation. The major shareholders of the Scandinavian based Vestergaard Group have signed a deal that will see them utilise their 50+ years expertise and investment in the hobby industry to revitalise the HPI brand and push it forward.

Speaking from Vestergaard Group’s Danish HQ, the new owners announced a new era for HPI Racing with a stable supply chain and excellent customer service.

“We are looking very much forward to rebuilding the HPI Racing and Maverick brands together with you. The brands will be putting existing customer’s needs first. Every HPI Racing product owner around the world has made an investment in HPI Racing. It’s important we remember that and do all we can to ensure they have years of enjoyment from it. We can assure you that there is a bright and sustainable future planned for HPI Racing, with both innovation and parts supply at the core”.

We at HOBBY MEDIA  are really happy to see these development as HPI was the very first brand that supported our Xtreme RC Cars magazine project back in the days!

I have an HPI 1/10 nitro car, wish hpi had a kit to transform or change into an electric lipo battery and brushless motor.

Yes, I can’t wait, been an HPI enthusiast for years, they have always had a great product, as a matter of fact I pulled all my cars out of a 5 yr rest knocked the dust off and started ripping them around again, Boy was I missing a lot of great fun, I still have a Savage 4.6 model and I need parts!!! I know if this is true about HPI coming back they will succeed without a doubt. Just hope they don’t forget about us die hard NITRO guys!! This will be a great thing guys.
