ARRMA (distributed by Horizon Hobby) presented their new 2019 Typhon 4×4 3S BLX 1/8th scale off-road buggy. The model is supplied fully built, with high quality electronics pre-installed. The chassis has a 4WD transmission and uses gear differentials easy to access.
The main differential gears have been super-sized with large pitch gears that have been designed to withstand huge torques, allowing lightweight composite material to be used for reduced rotating mass without compromising strength.
The electronics on the chassis features a BLX100 100A waterproof ESC, 3200kV brushless motor, ADS-7M 6Kg/cm Metal Geared Steering Servo and a 3 channel receiver 2.4GHz.
The BLX100 100A waterproof ESC provides consistent power control and is 3S LiPo ready. Fitted with a reliable EC5 battery connector and sporting a built-in cooling fan for reduced heat during intense driving action.
The BLX 3660 3200kV brushless motor provides both speed and torque and can push the Typhon 4×4 over 80km/h.
