Following teaser images released last week, PROTOform published the official pictures of the new body shells, Turismo for 190mm TC and X-15 for on-road 1/8th Scale Racing Cars.
Designed and produced using the latest in 3D CAD and 5-axis milling technology, the Turismo has ultra high-downforce and super low-CG aerodynamic.
The Turismo is Global Body Spec compliant (ROAR Approval Pending). Made in the USA with high-quality, super-durable polycarbonate, it is available in both X-Lite (0.5mm, about 70g race ready) and Light Weight (0.7mm, perfect for ETS-spec 90g weight minimum) weights.
Included with the body wing buttons and under-wing “nuts”, with M3 mounting screws. A stylish decal sheet, window masks, and overspray film complete the package.
The last four 1:8th IC On-Road IFMAR Worlds Championship winners have relied on PROTOform to finish on the top step of the podium.
The new X-15 body style has been exhaustively tested by our world-class team of drivers and has proven to be a step forward in predictable handling and lower lap times. Many unique shapes and proportions have been developed during its evolution process including streamlined cockpit and never-before-seen shrouding around the engine area. These features are sure to make the X-15 race body stand out at your track.
The body it is available in both PRO-Lite and Light Weight materials. Included with the body you will find universal stiffeners with hardware, a stylish decal sheet, and overspray film to complete the package.
