Now it’s the time of the S120 USB-C Smart Charger that features Spektrum Smart Charging technology in a small and simple to use platform. This 20W charger easily charges compatible Spektrum Smart batteries conveniently from almost any USB power source. When a Smart battery is connected, the S120 immediately detects the battery information and automatically begins to charge. Spektrum Smart charging is designed to be safe, intuitive and convenient.
Spektrum is expanding its own Smart Technology LiPo Battery Lineup that debuted last year. When a Smart battery is connected to a Spektrum Smart charger, unique parameters and health of that Smart LiPo battery upload from the Smart memory microchip integrated into the battery.
Through the charger, you can view and set preferences, such as charge rates, so that all you have to do to charge the pack every time is press the charger “Start” button. Smart technology takes care of the rest.

Horizon Hobby presented the new Spektrum DX5 Rugged radio control. This new 5-channel radio is designed for all uses: off-road, on-road and boats. Among the software features we find different options dedicated to scalers and crawlers, such as adjustments for models with four-wheel steering and MOA (Motor on Axle).
Inspired by the ergonomical Spektrum DX5 Pro and DX5C transmitters, the water-resistant chassis offers protection against minor splashes. It has a large LCD screen, a more precise steering wheel, DSMR transmission technology and telemetry functions.

In December, Spektrum will start shipping their new Sport Receivers SR515 5-channel, SR315 3-channel and SR215 2-channel. All the receivers use DSMR technology delivering a great range and response. The three models have a fast 5.5ms frame rate, providing a quicker, low-latency connection for the pro-level.
