The Italian brand REDS Racing just released the brand-new WR7 Diamond 2.0 nitro engine designed for 1/8th scale buggies and truggies. This engine is a 7 special porting extreme power engine based on WR7 Diamond edition and comes with the same sleeve and piston, crankshaft, crankcase, etc as the previous generation.
Compared to the old version the new WR7 Diamond 2.0 has improved idle stability and tuning options (thanks to a new 3 needles setting carburetor),mid to top range power curve and feeling (thanks to a special low speed needle and mid range spray bar) and improved cooling system specifically developed to widen the operating range so that the engine can work well in extremely hot conditions.
This new engine is available now in hobby stores and is possible to choose between two versions (with DLC coated crankshaft or with steel crankshaft) and different configurations.
