Since the traditional Shizuoka Hobby Show has been cancelled because the corona virus, Tamiya has deiced to reveal the new RC models lineup online. After the Suzuki Swift Sport, today the Japanese brand has revealed an incredible assembly kit depicting the GEN2 car raced in the 2019-20 season of the Formula E championship, the pinnacle of electric car racing.
The sleek, high-tech body with cowled wheels is recreated in polycarbonate with separately molded Halo, mirrors and rear diffuser/bumper. Markings are included to recreate the Championship Livery car. This Formula E GEN2 Car is build on the shaft-driven 4WD of the TC01 chassis.
