Axial: SCX10 II 1955 Ford F100 scaler

Axial, part of the big Horizon Hobby Group, has just revealed the lasted model of the SCX10 II family: an impressive replica of the classic Ford F100. Authentic body details include a front grille with chrome-coated plastic radiator and front-mounted driving lights with LEDs installed. Mounting positions are built-in to add optional LEDs for headlights and turn signal markers.

Officially licensed METHOD Hole wheels and Maxxis Trepador tires (a working spare is included in the kit) take the realism down to the road. Performance on the trail lives up to the model’s full-scale inspiration. Waterproof electronics keep the action alive over snow, mud, and more.

Axial Capra 1.9

After the announce of August, Axial has released the new Capra 1.9 Unlimited Trail Buggy Kit. This chassis is engineered for cutting-edge crawling, with portal axles plus a transmitter-operated DIG function that allows a tighter turning radius. With the included Dig transmission, you can also switch on the fly between 4WD and FWD directly from your 3-channel transmitter locking the rear axle whenever you need the tighter turning radius of front drive power.

The Capra features a realistic tube chassis design and metal gears everywhere, from the center transmission to the lockers and portal axles. It rides on licensed Raceline 3-piece molded beadlock wheels that can be fitted with whatever 1.9 tires you prefer.

SCX10 II UMG10
Horizon Hobby has announced the new Axial UMG10 1/10th Scale kit based on the SCX10 II chassis. The model features a forward cab military Unimog body with a Beadlock MW19 wheels and 1.9 e MT45 tyresin R35 compound that deliver all-terrain traction.

The SCX10 transmission on the UMG10 successfully achieves a scale replication of a real transmission with oil pan, 4X4 transfer case, bell housing along, all-metal internal gears, and, a full set of ball bearings.
