 Kyosho: Ultima 2019 2WD Vintage Buggy

After the teasing us during the summer Kyosho officially announced the re-released of the 1980’s Ultima 2WD vintage buggy kit. The core of the buggy (like its unique U-shaped alloy chassis) is unchanged from the original but there are few improvements, designed by our friend the legendary Akira Kogawa, to ensure better performances and durability and make the buggy compatible with modern LiPo batteries and brushless motors.

The Ultima 2019 will make its official debut later this month in Tokyo during the 59th All Japan Model & Hobby Show but below we can enjoy a bunch of great photos of this “new” vintage buggy!

March 761

Vintage Formula 1 enthusiasts will be happy to know that the Italian Fenix Racing has presented the new Formula 1 March 761 body shell, an official replica of the original car produced by the British company March Engineering in the mid-seventies.

The body was presented during the ETS final and includes lots of engine and rear suspension detail. The March 761 body is transparent and fits the Fenix Racing Classique, Tamiya F103 and F104 kits and as well most of today’s formula chassis.
