Leonardo Valente has joined the SWORKz factory team. He Italian driver will race with the 1/8 scale buggies SWORKz S35-3 and S35-3E. The last weekend, during his first race with SWORKz, he already won the Reds GP 2018 in Brushless Category.

New Steel City R/C Speedway is an onroad course for nitro and electric RC car racing located at the world famous California Speedway (home of Nascar and Indy Car events). In mid September it hosted its first 5th Scale World Challenge. The track is 250 x 125 and up to 16ft wide lanes making it the perfect size to stretch out the power of the 1/5th scale RC cars.

In the first weekend of September, on the same track that host the 1/10 Worlds in 2016 (the miniautodromo M. Rosati) was held the last round of Italian Championship.
The track was complete resurfaced with an amazing job of the organizers that completed the job only one week prior the event. Not a lot of entries this time probably because the date was too much close to vacations. Dario Balestri decided to attend 1/10 scale with Francesco Tironi while Carmine and Lamberto Collari tried to secure the 1/8 Championship after their 1-2 in Fiorano.
The Taiwanese brad SWORKz announced that the young Italian talent Gianmarco Franzolini (he’s just 14year old) joined its own racing team. Gianmarco will race SWORKz S35-3 Nitro and S35-3E Elo 1/8 Buggy.
Here is what the young pilot declared: “I did a test program with the cars. Quality and Top Performance made my decision easy. I am really happy to be in this team in the coming years and will do my best for good results.”
