Redcat Racing have posted another “How to” video dedicated to the Gen8. This video shows us how to install the optional Aluminum Front Shock Towers. This option part replaces the stock composite plastic front tower with integrated servo and bumper mount.
Out of the box the Everest Gen8 is the perfect scale RC vehicle for exploring off-road terrain, but there comes a point where you wanna customize it. Redcat Racing have posted a new “How to” video that focus on installing the CNC Steel Gear Set (RER11474). This option part replaces the stock composite plastic Mod 1 gears.
The video shows what tools you need and what parts need to be removed to access the gears in the transmission and transfer case, and then illustrates how to properly install the new precision gear set.
Redcat Gen8 P-A-C-K Pre-Assembled Chassis Kit

At the end of February, Redcat Racing will begin the distribution of the new Gen8 P-A-C-K (Pre-Assembled Chassis Kit) Crawler. The model is designed for those who want to save time assembling the chassis and focus only on the choice of electronics, wheel, tires and body.
The Gen8 P-A-C-K already includes many of the features custom builders look for, and is ready to be transformed into a high performance Rock Crawler.
Redcat Racing Gen8 Scaler Hop Up Parts

Redcat Racing released some new Hop Up parts for the 1/10th Scale Gen8 Scaler. This model has very good performance straight out of the box and appeals to both the RTR enthusiasts as well as the custom build community. To ensure those who like to modify their vehicles have plenty to keep them busy, Redcat has released several hop up parts, with more scheduled to come.
One of the most satisfying aspects of the RC hobby, is the ability to customize the vehicle and make it your own. Below are the Redcat Racing Gen8 hop-up parts currently available.
3D printing enthusiasts will be happy to know Redcat Racing announced the release of Free 3D printed parts files for the 10th Scale Crawler Gen7 & Gen8. They’ve decided to challenge their engineering team to add additional value for the user community. This resulted in releasing FREE 3D printable parts files to anyone who wants to print custom parts and accessories from their home.
At the end of October, at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas , Redcat Racing revealed the Gen8 Scout platform. To celebrate the first deliveries of this new scaler they released a new promotional video (the retail price is $299.99 and quantities will be limited through January 2019).
Redcat Racing will officially reveal the Gen8 Scout platform at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas on October 30th (if you are around you should check Booth 35231). First deliveries of this new scaler will begin late December 2018 and quantities will be limited through January 2019.
Final pricing of this new Gen8 Scout has not been set, but we can assure you, it will be one of the best values in the scale crawler market.
