Independence Day is a great time to spend outdoors having fun (but I’m sure that this year many will spent time inside binge watching on Netflix the third series of Stranger Things). It’s also a great day for some adventure crawling so the Traxxas staff decide to hit the rocks on beautiful Mt. Rubidoux with two fully-outfitted TRX4 Sport trucks.
Redcat Racing have posted another “How to” video dedicated to the Gen8. This video shows us how to install the optional Aluminum Front Shock Towers. This option part replaces the stock composite plastic front tower with integrated servo and bumper mount.
Pro-Line have revealed the super detailed “Late Model Interior” dedicated to scale truck fans! This brand new kit features bucket-style front seats and a modern dash and center console to add an additional touch of realism to your rig. The interior was designed for ideal fit with both of Pro-Line’s 2017 Ford Raptor Crawler Bodies (3509-00 & 3516-00) and can also be made to fit other model truck bodies with trimming.

At the end of February, Redcat Racing will begin the distribution of the new Gen8 P-A-C-K (Pre-Assembled Chassis Kit) Crawler. The model is designed for those who want to save time assembling the chassis and focus only on the choice of electronics, wheel, tires and body.
The Gen8 P-A-C-K already includes many of the features custom builders look for, and is ready to be transformed into a high performance Rock Crawler.
The Chinese company Capo Racing have released the new version of their AIRMATIC Scale Suspension System. This system allows to easily change the height of your rig via remote control. It’s designed for the JKMAX 1/10 crawler rc model but it should be compatible with a little effort with your new rig.

Hobbywing presented a new speed controller for double-engine crawlers. The QuicRun WP-880 Dual is designed to connect two motors to a single ESC and is perfect for 1/10th and 1/8th Scale models. The ESC features compatibility with LiPo 4S battery packs, 540, 550 and 775 class motors, 15 programmable parameters via Card Programmer (sold separately) and adjustable pulse modulation (PWM).
3D printing enthusiasts will be happy to know Redcat Racing announced the release of Free 3D printed parts files for the 10th Scale Crawler Gen7 & Gen8. They’ve decided to challenge their engineering team to add additional value for the user community. This resulted in releasing FREE 3D printable parts files to anyone who wants to print custom parts and accessories from their home.
