Novarossi, after months of testing, is pleased to present the new high performance 1/8th off-road engine MANTRA! A name you will hardly forget in the days to come. This engine is a revolution in the Novarossi off-road engine range, proposing for the first time a square stroke (16.42mm x 16.42mm) on the top range motor, plus a 14mm shaft and new piston/cylinder configuration.
Thanks to all of this, we were able to get an elastic and linear power feel, and more torque in medium/high rpm, but incredibly with really low fuel consumption.

The crankshaft is manufactured with a larger bore intake to increase the mixture flow; and has a special shape to optimise gas-flows in the engine.
The rear cover presents a round shape to optimize the filling and reducing the dead spaces. the steel plate is to reduce friction and to expand the lifespan of the conrod.
The sleeve has 4 transfer ports to supply a linear power output and to keep fuel consumption low.
The combustion chamber is supported by an O-Ring which is placed between the combustion chamber and the crankcase to reduce the vibrations of the combustion chamber.
