The European company Monaco RC have announced the release of “Forza Tester” by OfficinaRC, a new device developed for measuring the diffs hardness for RC models 1/10 and Mini Z.

Forza Tester is the smallest Diff reader in the world (Size 86x38x29mm and the weight is just 85 Grams) and it is powered by Micro USB. This device allows the diff measurement either from the assembled car and stand alone and is equipped with 1/10 adapter and is available as option part the Mini Z adapter.

Mini-Z RWD
In January, Kyosho will start distribution of a new Mini-Z RWD with the body replica of the McLaren P1 GTR. The P1 GTR was the circuit-spec model introduced to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the McLaren F1 GTR. The P1 GTR’s unique features such as a large front splitter and rear wing, air intake snorkel and rear aerodynamic plate, have been reproduced.

Futaba: 4PM Wheel Type Transmitter

After the CAD renderings we posted last month, Futaba officially unveiled the new Middle-Class wheel type transmitter 4PM that will be released in the first quarter of 2019.

This new radio supports Super Response (SR) mode just like Futaba’s flagship model 7PX and the same wireless control function of the MC970CR (and it corresponds to KYOSHO Mini-Z Racer MR-03EVO).  If you combine with MINI-Z ‘s Futaba receiver unit which will be released from KYOSHO, you can control the MINI-Z EVO as you wish.

Mini-Z FWD SP.

At the end of October, Kyosho will start distribution of the new Mini-Z Chassis Set FWD SP. This set is only the lower part of the chassis and is equipped with a gold-plated motor and battery connectors. The gold offers a lower electric resistance than the standard connector with lower temperatures and better performance.

Mini-Z EVO

Tomorrow Kyosho will present the new Mini-Z EVO at the Tokyo Hobby Show. The existing MINI-Z series has an installed receiver, servo and ESC in 1 controlled PCB unit. The new MR-03 EVO has a separate receiver, as a standalone unit.

Now, this allows you to choose your receiver module based on the radio you want to use. When the model is available it will be possible to use radios from Kyosho, KO Propo, Futaba and, in the future, Sanwa.

Mini-Z FWD

Walking around the All Japan Model & Hobby Show while Kyosho sets up its booth, we found two new Mini-Z FWD: the Megane RS and Civic Type R. With the FWD chassis, Kyosho has introduced a completely new front wheel drive design in the MINI-Z series.

The chassis has a low center of gravity layout, achieving excellent weight balance with 4 battery cells and uses a new designed servo unit producing linear steering characteristics. The gear drivetrain can also be equipped with the existing All Wheel Drive (AWD) ball differential.
