Traxxas Maxx

Our friends at Velocity RC Cars magazine have posted the Traxxas Maxx review (that is featured in Issue #39 of VRC Mag and don’t forget that you can subscribe for just $9.99).

Last year Traxxas has introduced this monster truck that is a smaller version of the X-Maxx 1/8th Scale truck. With a new Maxx platform that is smaller and lighter, Traxxas engineers took the speed to 95+ km/h, tuned it for even higher performance and durability.

Redcat: Kaiju 1/8 4WD Monster Truck

Redcat just released their new 1:8 scale monster truck: the Kaiju. This ready to run giant features a powerful Hobbywing 150A Brushless ESC and will accept single or double LIPO batteries. It can handle a single 6S LIPO or double 3S LIPO batteries (but it is also capable of running a single 4S LIPO or double 2S LIPO batteries).

An adjustable wheelie bar  allows the driver to decide how wild the Kaiju wheelies are. Lowering the 4-position adjustable wheelie bar keeps the front tires closer to the ground, though if you’re hard on the throttle they will leave the ground.

Axial SMT10 Grave Digger Monster Jam Truck RTR

Just before Christmas AXIAL revealed the updated version of the SMT10 Grave Digger Monster Jam RTR monster truck. The iconic paint scheme of the classic Grave Digger® 1950s-style panel van — a ghoulish blend of black, purple and green — has thrilled fans of the full-scale Monster Jam legend for many years.

This monster is build on the SMT10 tube frame chassis, which was developed by Axial to get maximum bashing strength and an extremely detailed appearance. High-quality electronics also contribute to the Grave Digger model’s never-say-die performance.
