KYOSHO: MINIz 4×4 Readyset Toyota 4Runner (Hilux Surf)

At the Spielwarenmesse (the would biggest toy fair held once a year in Nuremberg – Germany) Kyosho revealed the MINIz 4×4 Readyset Toyota 4Runner (Hilux Surf). This first-generation N60 Toyota 4Runner has been meticulously recreated in 1:24-scale in true rock crawler style. The factory-painted injection-molded body has so much detail it rivals that of a die cast model.

The body also features flexible mirrors and wipers to prevent damage, and the rear cap includes a realistic matte finish with a spare tire to capture the true essence of a 4WD off-road rock crawler.

FTX Outback Mini 2.0 PASO 1/24th Scale Scaler

FTX has just released the images of their new Outback Mini 2.0 PASO in grey or yellow available for shipping from mid-November.

The Paso is the second addition in the Mini Outback 2.0 range and features a classic SUV 4×4 styled body with moulded scale accessories such as roof rack with LED ready spot lights, front grill with LED light buckets installed, rear LED installed light housing, snorkel and side mirrors.

Carisma new GT24 Subaru and GT24 Hyundai i20 RTR

Carisma has announced two new 1/24th Scale models: the GT24 Subaru and the GT24 Hyundai i20. Both of them will arrive soon in hobby shops Ready to Run and brushless powered. The models will feature an 8000kv brushless motor, 2.4GHz radio and rally pin tires.

Included with each model is a 2.4GH KD Propo CTX 2000 radio with MRS-24BL receiver, a 7.2v NiMh battery pack and 5V USB charger.

Tamiya: Lunch Box Mini official video!

At the beginning of August Tamiya will start delivering the 1/24th Scale Lunch Box Mini to hobby stores around the World. This super fun off-roader is build on the brand new SW-01 chassis.

The Lunch Box Mini is capable of 4-wheel steering using separately sold Upper Arm Connectors (that allow you to steer with all four wheels on the ground and also steer while doing wheelies) and now we can watch the official promo video!

Tamiya Comical Lunch Box Mini 1/24th Scale kit

This August Tamiya will begin the distribution of the 1/24th Scale Comical Lunch Box Mini kit on the all-new SW-01 chassis. The model is compact, maneuverable, and above all super-fun addition to the world of Tamiya wheelie models. It’s a familiar face, too, as the legendary Tamiya Lunch Box has been shrunk down to 1/24 scale.

The classic shrunken Lunch Box body sits on top of the 4WD SW-01 chassis. It is capable of 4-wheel steering using separately sold Upper Arm Connectors that not only allows you to steer with all four wheels on the ground, but it also allows the vehicle to steer while doing wheelies.

The Shizuoka Hobby Show, the Japanese most important event for RC fans, has opened its doors. We can finally take an up-close look at the new Lunch Box Mini: the new 1/24th scale model part of the “Comical Wheelie Series” looks super-fun and is perfect for all the nostalgist who are still in love with the classic Lunch Box.

The Lunch Box Mini polycarbonate body is pre-painted and sits on top of the 4WD SW-01 chassis is attached to the body mounts using magnets for quick attachment.

Carisma 4Y24 KIT 1/24th Scale 4WD Buggy

Our friends at Carisma announced their 4Y24 1/24th Scale 4WD buggy kit. The 4Y24 kit is based on the original GT24B running the latest 2.4 GHz radio gear and Brushless electrics now available. The robust and well engineered 4Y-24 4WD Buggy Kit incorporates all the features you would expect of a class leading model. It’s the perfect starting point for any serious 1/24th race buggy build.

Independent coil over suspension works with 1/10th Race Buggy inspired A-Arms to keep the tyres generating grip, while the slipper clutch protects the driveline from undue stress when jumping or changing from high to low grip surfaces. Tough gear diffs, front and rear, allow for a true 4WD “Lift Off Oversteer” dynamic, and can be fine tuned by changing the viscosity of the internal grease used.
