If you are a basher looking for something big, really big, Losi released the new version of the 1/6 scale Super Rock Rey. This ready-to-run takes its inspiration from full-scale rigs that tackle the King of Hammers and similar places others won’t dare go. Realistic solid axle performance joins 8S brushless power that pushes the needle to over 60 Km/h while the stability of AVC technology lets you hold nothing back through corners and jumps.

The large tires and new front end geometry increase suspension travel and improve performance over any terrain. Super Rock Rey loves rocky off-road tracks, and the rougher, the better! It also rips through sand, mud, water, and most any other surface condition.

Losi: Super Baja Ray 2.0 1/6th scale desert truck

Losi have just revealed the new 1/6th-scale desert truck Super Baja Rey 2.0 based on the Super Rock Rey chassis, (designers added about an inch to the wheelbase and morphed it with the front end from the Super Baja Rey).

This desert truck mounts the Spektrum Firma SMART 160 Amp 8S ESC and 750kv Firma 1/6th 5687 brushless motor. The bottom loading chassis makes battery changes a breeze. Front and rear LED light bars keep everything nice and bright for off-road adventures at night.

FG Modellsport LEO 2020 Toy Fair Nuremberg 2019

Big Scale buggy fans will be happy to know that FG Modellsport at the Toy Fair 2019 presented two new versions of the LEO 2020. The model is designed for competitions and is available in 4WD and 2WD. Both are mainly composed of T7075 aluminum parts.

The chassis has a thickness of 4 mm with a very low center of gravity, uses differentials with bevel gears, cardan shafts in hardened steel and front hydraulic disc brakes in the 4WD version and central in the 2WD version.

This off road beast has been designed with a lot of attention to details for an impressive scale realism. For now this is all we got but the young Taiwanese company (it has been founded just a couple of years ago) seems to have an hit ready to hit the shelves.

Losi has posted a new promotional video of the Super Baja Rey 1/6th scale 4WD Desert Truck. This off-road beast is sold pre-assembled (it’s possible to choose between the RTR and the BND if you already own a Spektrum radio) and is capable of speeds up to 80+ Km/h.

The chassis of the Super Baja Rey adopts a long travel solid 4-Link rear axle and independent front A-Arm. The electronics provided with the model include a Dynamite Fuze 1200Kv brushless motor, waterproof 160A ESC (can handle 6-cells of LiPo power) and a receiver with AVC stability control (Active Vehicle Control) technology.

Losi has published a new video of the Super Baja Rey 1/6th scale 4WD Desert Truck. The model arrives assembled and is capable of speeds up to 80+ KM/H.

The chassis uses a long travel solid 4-Link rear axle and independent front A-Arm. The electronics provided with the model include a Dynamite Fuze 1200Kv brushless motor, waterproof 160A ESC (can handle 6-cells of LiPo power), Spektrum servo S904 and SRS6000 receiver with AVC stability control (Active Vehicle Control) technology.
