Reedy: SC480X Crawler ESC & Program Card

Reedy have released the SC480X ESC & Program Card designed for trail truck and crawler enthusiasts. Excellent forward/reverse/brake feel, a wide range of adjustability, and robust hardware make the SC480X suitable for both trail truck and crawler applications. The pre-programmed default settings work very well in most situations, but if you want access to additional settings for fine-tuning, you can do so using optional Program Card.

Speedzone: Evolution SC80 80A SPEC ESC

Speedzone USA has just released the new Evolution SC80 80A electronic speed controller. The SC80 is specifically designed for 1/10 scale SPEC class electric RC cars and is suitable for both off-road and on-road classes. This ESC comes factory set in “blinky” mode with the same setup of United States Stock TC ACE Dave Johnson but an optional program box is available to customize settings to suite driving styles in “blinky” mode as well as non-“blinky” mode.

The History of the LRP IPC V6 ESC

The Italian LRP technician Andrea Leo shared a really nice story about a piece of the RC history: the LRP IPC V6 ESC that was used by “60% of all the drivers at the 1997 IFMAR World Championship”.

A few days ago talking to Jürgen, founder of LRP, I told him that a new piece of history was about to become part of my private collection. I had found an LRP IPC V6. As soon as he saw the pictures Jürgen wrote to me: “I have so many memories, can remember so many hard fought fights to get there. But as Lee A. Iacocca said: ” There is one and only one ambition, to be the best what else is there”. And this is true for the life I live.” I was happy because I knew I had a piece of history in my hands and this is a wonderful thing for me.

Fleta Pro V2 Revolution 1S

Muchmore has just revealed the brand new Fleta Pro V2 Revolution 1S. This redesigned version of the Fleta Pro features an all aluminium case offers better heat dissipation compared to the previous 2018 variant. This speed controller is develop for use with 1S LiPo batteries 3/4-cell NiMH, and therefore it’s aimed at 1/12th scale use. Its internal switch makes the wiring simpler as it removes the need for an external one.
