Team Associated has released the new, RTR electric truck, Pro4 SC10. This new Short Course features some major upgrades not normally found in RTRs, including a water-resistant high-power Reedy brushless speed control, Reedy 3300kV brushless motor, water-resistant enclosed receiver box, adjustable oil-filled coil-over shock absorbers, and four-wheel independent suspension.

Durable, impact-absorbing front and rear bumpers with integrated LEDs. Drivetrain features three heavy-duty sealed gear differentials. The Pro4 SC10 rolls and jumps on Fifteen52 Turbomac HD wheels wrapped in realistic off-road General Tire GT Grabber all-terrain tires.

Last summer Team Associated introduced the DR10 Drag Racing Kit. Based on the 9-time R.O.A.R. Short Course National Championship platform, this drag racer features a water-resistant high-power Reedy brushless speed control and 3300kV brushless motor, a 2.4GHz 2-channel radio system, as well as the new DVC (Dynamic Vehicle Control) receiver unit with built-in adjustable digital gyro.

The steel ladder frame chassis of the CR12 Tioga Trail Truck provides the perfect backbone for this rugged rig. The 4-link suspension, threaded shocks, and soft rubber tires give the grip and performance needed to climb over the roughest terrain.

Modern street racing’s roots go back to Woodward Avenue, Michigan in the 1960s when the three main Detroit-based American car companies were producing high-powered performance cars. A private racing venue was not always available, and therefore the race would be held illegally on public roads.

In January Team Associated announced the DR10 Drag Race Car (based on the 9-time R.O.A.R. Short Course National Championship platform) and today the us brand revealed a Sublime Green colour variation.

This Read To Run drag race car mounts a moulded low-centre-of-gravity chassis, metric hardware, a water-resistant high-power Reedy brushless speed control and 3300kV brushless motor, 18 precision ball beatings, a 2.6:1 ratio gearbox with heavy-duty sealed gear differential and adjustable slipper clutch and suspension.

Street Racing is an unsanctioned form of auto racing which occurs on a public roads. Racing in the streets is centuries old and started well before the automobile, but auto racing started the moment the second vehicle was created!

JConcepts: Associated RC10B3 Kit Body Re-Release

JConcepts have introduced a body shell replica of the legendary racing buggy Team Associated RC10B3. Team Associated released the RC10B3 during the 1997 IFMAR World Championships. Quietly, during the span of 1995 through 1997, Area 51 worked on the follow-up design to the successful RC10 platforms with a major release scheduled during the high-profile event. One of the improvements or updates made to the design was the body.

JConcepts (with official the approval from Team Associated) have reproduced the genuine RC10B3 body shell. This allows to recreate, rebuild and race with authentically styled bodies from the heyday of competitive rear bias cab, back closure buggy bodies. A lot of work went into making this project a reality and thankfully, Team Associated preserved the iconic mold from the 1997 race year so JConcepts was able to restore older generation construction and with a blend of today’s materials.
